I'm proud of the way we work.

 

I started out in Notting Hill — the area where I was born and raised — and my customers and reputation in the area means everything as everyone around here knows me.

 

I can’t walk into a local supermarket without someone coming up to me because I will have been to their house to fix something at some point.

 

I love that and I always make time for people; it’s my way. 

 

This is my journey and the reasons why recommendations and referrals from customers now take us all over London. 

 

After leaving school I was eager to learn a trade, so I decided to study carpentry for two years.

 

This provided me with a strong foundation and helped me understand both the practical and theoretical aspects of the profession prior to working across various sites on multiple projects to immerse myself in the industry. 

 

I wanted to broaden my skill set and returned to college to study bricklaying and upon completing further education, I then felt confident enough to step up and make a go of it on my own as a bricklaying contractor.

 

The more work I did, the more jobs I was offered and it eventually led me to taking on complex professional challenges such as extensions, renovations and re-fit projects which was later complemented by becoming a gas safety specialist as demand grew for my work.

 

As the years went on, it became apparent to me that the big contractors were not interested in taking on the smaller jobs.

 

I'm a big believer in getting the little things right too, so with all the years of experience behind me, I started Notting Hill Handyman. 

 

We now offer property refurbishments, painting and decorating, carpentry, kitchen and bathroom fittings and a multiple property landlord service, in addition to many other services ranging from boilers and hourly rate maintenance service/surveys all the way through to plumbing. 

 

I love going to work each morning and we're building on our success – we set high standards and I demand the very best of everyone working for Notting Hill Handyman. We get the job done.
